8TH AND 9TH CLASS ON SCHOOL EXCURSION IN PIRAN

We were on a school excursion to the Slovenian coast. We visited the beautiful coastal town Piran and well known Slovenian producer of sea salt - SOLINE in Sečovlje. We had an unforgettable day.

Final event of Spring day in Europe 2010 in school Žetale

Friday, 11th June 2010, we had final event in the framework of Spring Day in Europe 2010. Pupils throughout the school year participate in various competitions. Teachers in specific subjects and an extended stay in a few hours devoted to themes related to the Spring Day project. This has created quite a few products which have been exhibited in the school hall. For the closing event of the project Spring day, teachers who are involved in a Comenius project, made an exhibition of objects that are typical for Germany and Great Britain. In these two countries, namely in the project were to visit the Comenius partner schools. In the central part of the event, Ms. Tanya Nikolovski using projection images present a partner schools. Special emphasis was placed on the school premises, school equipment, school characteristics and nutrition, and relations between students and teachers. Students were very satisfied with the presentation because they get a comparison between our school and schools from Eggenfeldna and North Leigh. Italy partner schoo will be present in November after teachers visit it. In the coming school year, when guests come to us from Germany, Great Britain and Italy, they will ask for some diversified developments in the Spring Day project. Miran Železnik, teacher
