THINGS TALK - toys made from packaging waste
22. April is World Earth Day, which on the initiative of civil society around the world are celebrating more than 30 years. On that date, individuals and numerous environmental organizations produce a wide range of projects, events and events with which they wish to draw attention to the uniqueness and vulnerability of the planet on which we live. Last year, our school participated in the events: "Did not dump the Earth, the Earth is our home ", in Ptuj organize by a "Clean place" company , cooperation with Altiusom company. We've put on the market stall, where we presented toys that can be made from packaging waste. Because that year has been a central theme of biological waste, we are presented with a brief section in which we show the practical course of composting.

WINTER SPORTS DAY - OŠ ŽETALE

Greetings from Italy
Hello friends,
these are children of class three, involved in the construction of special bins to make in their classroom a small recycling center for paper and plastic.
We have called the bins "butti" from an ancient word "butto" that was a hole in the ground, where in the middle age, people threw their rubbish.
Children had built the bins with simple materials, and then they had decorated them with drawings about pollution and recycling.
The draw says:" These are rubbish that we THROW AWAY instead of RECYCLING"
Then children had built some simple musical instruments with recycled materials, like the toilet paper tube, filled in with pulses, and finally decorated with pictures cutted from magazines. They enjoyed very much this activity!
